Oh, there's a lot to tell today!

I have another new kit which I've just added to the store today.  This one is called 'Colori di Spumone'.  If you speak Italian (not that I do) then you'll know that translates to 'Colors of Spumone' and, if you like Italian desserts (and who doesn't?), you may already know what Spumone is but, if not, here's the definition taken from the pages of wikipedia, 'Spumone (from spuma or "foam"), plural spumoni, is a molded Italian  ice cream made with layers of different colors and flavors, usually containing candied fruits and nuts. Typically it is of three flavors, with a fruit/nut layer between them. The ice cream layers are often mixed with whipped cream. Chocolate and pistachio  are the typical flavors of the ice cream layers, and the fruit/nut layer often contains cherry bits—causing the traditional red/pink, brown, and green color combination.'

OK, perhaps it's a silly name for a scrapbooking kit but, well, that's what the colors 'said' to me.  :-)

The kit is available for $4.00 in my store at The Nifty Boutique; however, it, and most everything else in The Nifty Boutique, will be on sale for 40% off this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, May 1st and May 2nd, 2010) as E-Scape and Scrap is having a store-wide sale in honor of NSD (National Scrapbook Day).  Don't miss out on the great deals (click on the advertisement to go to The Nifty Boutique)!

Oh, BEFORE YOU SHOP, be sure to visit The Nifty Boutique Blog... you won't be sorry... there is an extra surprise at the bottom of the NSD advertisement there. ;-)

And lastly, a freebie... another reason to visit The Nifty Boutique Blog... dress up your desktop for the month of May with the free calendar wallpaper and your own photos.  This freebie was made for you by Elaine using the new 'Feeling Blue' elements and papers by Ingeborg Designs.

OK, I'm having trouble keeping quiet about 'the extra surprise' at The Nifty Boutique Blog so I'll tell you what it is (but, shh, don't tell anyone that I told you)...are you ready?... it's a coupon code for $3.00 off your purchase of $10 or more this weekend, and that's in addition to the 40% off!  Cool, huh?

That's all for for now; Happy Scrapping and Happy National Scrapbook Day to you all!

A New Kit - Summer Fun

I've been feeling a little under the weather lately so I guess I've been neglecting my blog here as a result.  However, I've a new kit in my store (12 papers and 32 Elements) and wanted to leave a quick post to announce it; it's called 'Summer Fun'.

A closer look.

Two sample layouts created using the kit.

A New Designer at E-Scape and Scrap's store, The Nifty Boutique

Yep, that's me, a new designer at e-scapeandscrap.net.

I'm so thrilled that Julie Mead, the owner of E-Scape and Scrap's store, The Nifty Boutique, has accepted my application to join her team as a designer of digital scrapbooking products!

I've been busy these last few weeks creating 2 kits to launch my store at The Nifty Boutique and I hope you like them.

The first one is 'Looks Like Spring' - I designed this one in honor of the Spring season which for me. living in the northern hemisphere, is just beginning.  It is a full-sized kit (300ppi with papers sized at 3600x3600px) and includes 13 papers, a full alphabet (with 2 different styles of uppercase letters) and 23 Elements.  It's also S4O/S4H friendly.

Here's a LO I created with this kit; a photograph of my mother in the 1940's.

The 'Looks Like Spring' kit is available HERE in my store at The Nifty Boutique.

The second kit is 'In Between' - this one was designed in hopes of representing that in-between place in a girl's life where she is no longer a child but not yet a woman.  It's bold, bright, a little grungy, playful and feminine.  This kit too is full-sized and is S4O/S4H friendly.  It comes with 18 papers and 30 elements.

Here's a LO I created using this kit.

One last thing today... I thought I'd give you all a gift of a Freebie Addon to my kit 'Looks Like Spring'.  Here's what the Freebie looks like...

If you have a few minutes to leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.

Enjoy and Happy Scrapping!
